How big is the school? What time does it start/end? Does it use a block schedule?
Carlisle currently enrolls about 1500 kids, and has fairly new (and large) school buildings--it takes about 10 minutes to walk from one end of campus to the other. Go to orientation (date TBA) and you'll have an easier time finding your way. School starts at 7:49, ends at 2:45, and uses a traditional 7-period schedule.
What about lunch?
Lunch is 27 minutes long; there are three different lunch periods and two cafeterias. Usually, freshmen and sophomores eat in the Swartz cafeteria and juniors and seniors stay in McGowan--we're not allowed off-campus for lunch. There's a lot of options in the cafeteria, usually pizza, yogurt parfait, a salad bar, and then whatever the entree is for that day. Lunch is $2.35 , and paying with your student ID is simplest for both you and the cafeteria workers.
Are our teams any good?
Check the links for the different sports under the "Sports" tab...
Overall, Carlisle's not bad. Lots of people go to the football and basketball games--we have a great student section!

What is there to do in Carlisle, anyway?
Play a sport, go to a football game, go eat at one of the many restaurants here, volunteer, take a weekend trip to New York--there's definitely a decent amount of activity here! The school website has some info here, hopefully they'll be updating it over the summer.
Carlisle is known for the U.S. Army War College, its many car shows, and Dickinson College.

What do all these numbers and letters on my schedule mean?
Mouse over the image below for a more detailed breakdown of all the components included in your schedule. First, more info on the "room" column and where all the buildings are located--if the room number starts with an "M", then the class is in the McGowan building (behind the buffalo statue). If the room number starts with an "F", it is located in the Fowler building, the one behind the flagpole in the middle. If it starts with an "S", the course will be found in the Swartz building, the building next to Fowler--on the other side of the bridge that crosses the road. The numbers that come after the letters are just the room numbers of each of your classrooms; these numbers are posted outside of each door in the high school. If the number starts with a '1' (like S124 or F103), it is on an upper floor.
There should be a sheet of paper that comes with your schedule telling all the start and end times of.your classes.
